So, what exactly is women's flat-track roller derby?

Womens flat-track derby is a bit different from the old-school derby your mamma used to watch on TV. The majority of leagues across the nation play on a flat surface instead of a banked-track.
It's a full-contact sport on skates, but certain bad girl moves will land your butt on the bench for a penalty. So, you can't throw punches or skates, but, you can body check and talk a lot of smack.
Other WFTDA-style leagues in the region:

Sunset Bay Skate Club (Oregon Coast)
Emerald City Rollers (Eugene)
Sick Town Derby Dames (Corvallis)
Redding Roller Girls
Humboldt RollerGirls (N. California Coast)
Lava City Rollers (Bend)

We currently play by WFTDA rules, to visit the WFTDA site click here.
